The members of the San Francisco Bay Area and Vicinity Port Maritime Council unanimously elected Dave Connolly as its new president.
Connolly, who took over as the President/Secretary-Treasurer of the Sailors’ Union of the Pacific on March 1, will complete the term of Gunnar Lundeberg, who announced he was retiring during the PMC’s May meeting. (Connolly also succeeded Lundeberg at the SUP helm.)
Connolly’s name was the only one offered when nominations were opened during the June meeting. Prior to becoming the SUP President/Secretary-Treasurer, he had served several terms as its Vice President/Assistant Secretary-Treasurer.
