Organized labor is mourning the loss of Howard Richardson, a former member of the MTD executive board.
Richardson, who was 81, retired as a vice president of the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Union. He also had served as president of the Shelby County AFL-CIO Labor Council.
Chairman of the NAACP Labor and Industry Committee, Richardson had resided in South Memphis, TN.
