The Maritime Trades Department, AFL-CIO announces the cancellation of its annual Executive Board meeting that was scheduled to take place March 19 and 20 in Orlando.
MTD President Michael Sacco made the decision, stating, “With all that is not known about the coronavirus, it is not wise to ask our board members, speakers and guests to travel. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding during this uncertain period.”
The MTD office will update Executive Board members and Port Maritime Councils of future activities.
